"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate." ~Carl Jung

Hypnotherapy works to uncover the subconscious drivers of your behaviors, allowing you to rewire your brain and enjoy permanent changes.

What Can Hypnotherapy Do for You?

Hypnosis is a treatment that uses awareness of the mind-body connection to induce suggestions upon the unconscious mind. This allows a person to alter their thoughts, behaviors and feelings.

Studies have shown hypnotherapy to be effective when dealing with behavioral compulsions, chronic pain, and substance addictions. Other studies have confirmed its significantly positive outcomes with physical healing, physical performance and emotional re-processing.

In 18th-century Europe an Austrian doctor named Franz Anton Mesmer introduced the first sizable body of evidence in support of hypnotherapy.

And in the 1950s, a physician named Milton H. Erickson incorporated hypnosis into his techniques which lead to hypnosis being recognized by the American Medical Association and the American Psychological Association.

The hypnotic state may be brought about by a trained hypnotherapist using one of many techniques. The patient enters a state in which they feel awake yet completely relaxed. The heart rate and blood pressure may lower and there could be a difference in brain wave activity. In this lucid state the conscious mind releases and the subconscious mind moves forward. By reframing personal awareness it is easier to change a stubborn perspective that blocks the healing process. Similar outcomes of trance states have been shown with meditation and hallucinogens.

Awareness

In hypnosis, we create awareness of precise mental, physical and emotional signals. This expands our awareness of these signals in our conscious state.

Connection

Experiencing our emotions in a supported and relaxed environment allows us to connect more deeply with ourselves which allows us to connect more deeply with our world.

Focus

One definition of hypnosis is "focussed awareness", our conscious mind can create a spotlight-like focus. Practice of this focus changes the structure of our brain and allows us to have increased ability to focus on what we want.

Empowerment

Being able to choose which subconscious patterns to unlearn and which to reprogram empowers us change our thoughts and actions easily.

TESTIMONIALS

Real Clients, Real Results

Rueben Roth

I've tried dozens of various types of therapy throughout the past decade struggling to tame my negative habits. Without a doubt, Catherine was the first person to be able to guide me to improve my mental awareness and manage all my habits. She is the most knowledgable and empathetic individual I've come across. In other words, she is a next-level life coach.

Bob Weglin

How many stars can I give Catherine? 5 stars aren't enough. I almost feel like a different person. But I am the same as I've always been, but now I'm speaking from my real voice inside. I'm more assertive and feel good about myself and happy. Now I know what it feels like to have a clean slate, to be free, and be able to do what I need to do to succeed. I feel more alive and stronger every day. It's almost like a miracle.

Catherine is a gifted healer who helped me connect with my higher power and with spirituality. This work with her was amazingly helpful in revealing the root of emotional struggles and helping me with my healing process. I highly recommend working with Catherine if you want to transform your past struggles into a new way of thinking and feeling.
